The Quest fears no cold
Here's a few hurried shots from the start of today's Yukon Quest. About 30 below on the Chena River in downtown Fairbanks, but nobody was complaining. Twenty-four mushers entered the race, compared to about 100 in the Iditarod. Those cats probably won't feel air that's above zero during the 1,000-mile trip to Whitehorse.
