Sweet! I can't wait to order it. I wish I'd have checked in last week, before placing an Amazon order. Now I'll have to dip into my Wishlist so I can get the free shipping. lol

How was working with Createspace?

Rich.

Paul Gregson @ 6:17 pm:

I read your article on the Chickadees in the recent Alaska magazine. Do you have plans for roost box made out of pvc pipe. We have several chickadees that stay around during the winter and I'd like to make roost boxes for them. Thank you for any information. Paul (Vestal, NY

Ned @ 6:24 pm:

Hi Paul;

On making the roost:

You need:

Six inches of PVC, three inch.

Two caps.

Sawdust or wood chips.

A drill and 1.5-inch bit.

Instructions: slap the bottom cap on the pvc. Stuff it with wood chips. Put the top cap on. Drill a 1.5-inch hole a few inches from the top, under where the cap reaches down. Hang on tree, about eye level.

I haven't noticed birds roosting in mine yet, but something has dug out some chips.

Have fun, good luck.

Ned
