this is the 8th summer in a row with this leaf-miner on the aspen. first saw it in 2002. did you ever see it before then? bummer. makes'em look like giant sagebrush from a distance, and dulls the fall color. makes me wonder how it affects their health.

Great picture. You have the leaf miner, we have the gypsy moth. They sure can ruin a nice-looking tree.
I bought a new camera - Canon Powershot SK10iS with 200x optical zoom - takes great pictures (up close) from 100 plus yards away. I might send you some.

OOOOPS - Sorry - too many zeros - my camera has a 20x opitcal zoom - I don't know of any with a 200x —- WOW.
